Carola Rathjen studied business management in Hamburg with a focus on taxation and auditing. While studying she also worked at a tax consultancy in the city of Hamburg for five years. Since 1996 she has been working at the Betriebs-SHBB in Bad Oldesloe. In 2008 she qualified as a tax consultant.
